Brrr...
It's still cold. Freezing.
As you most likely guessed, it's Bobby, reporting from Albora. While people here believe me, I've been having a rough time fitting in. Not only are the customs a little...different then anywhere else, but it's not just the fitting in part. It's the almost dying part.
Yeah, almost dying. Should I say it again? Almost dying. That's something you can never get used to, no matter how many times it happens. And it's even worse when you know someone was trying to kill you. Yeah. The Sorcerers. Valencia, to be exact. Stribog (the village chief) took a whole group of people and myself on a hunt. I got separated and...well, she showed up. And created an avalanche.
Now, I've got to wonder why she didn't just take the breath out of my body, or something. Sorcerer's have an odd way with dealing with people they want dead. Maybe they can't kill directly like that, with magic.
Anyway, I don't know how many of you have been in an avalanche (hopefully, it's not many) but it's not something I'd do again. The snow completely covered me, leaving me in a world of darkness, not knowing if I was facing up or down. My head was dizzy as I tried to move my arms and essentially swim out of the snow. For all I knew, I was lying under 10 feet. The heat from my body was melting the snow around me, encasing me in a coffin of ice. My breathing became panicked, which only used more of my precious little oxygen.
Thankfully, Albora is much more advanced than I had thought. Stribog had special equiptment to find my diminishing body heat below the surface of the fallen snow and got to me in time. Shivering down to my bones, he took me back to his village and warmed me up by a fire. I thanked him, and here I am.
At first, I was afraid that since Valencia had tried to kill me, that other Sorcerers would attempt to kill James and Katrina, but according to this blog, they're fine.
So far.
Well, I hope that was the first (and last) of attempts on my life, at least for now.
See you later,
Bobby

Geez, Bobby that was scary! I was practicly shaking just reading this. What if you had died? Your story could never be the same (or as good). Plus, James needs you...you have to keep him from getting killed and becoming hysterical.
My point--Don't EVER almost die again!
